Cara membaca angka ini. Angka ini diterbitkan untuk semua stadium digabung, jadi ini rata-rata atas semua orang dalam data registri nasional, bukan prognosis untuk satu orang. Pada sebagian besar kanker, stadium saat diagnosis adalah faktor tunggal terkuat di balik perbedaan kelangsungan hidup: kelangsungan hidup umumnya lebih tinggi bila kanker ditemukan pada stadium lebih dini dan lebih rendah bila ditemukan lebih lambat. Angka ini diterbitkan sebagai nilai perkiraan (analisis hibrida) karena laporan registri datang dengan jeda, sehingga National Cancer Center memodelkan periode terakhir.
